Frequently Asked Questions

who may join?
CFO Circles are designed for senior finance leaders and chief financial officers who hold decision-making authority in their organizations. What matters most is a willingness to share openly, engage candidly, and support peers in a confidential environment.
how to join?
Start with a brief conversation to confirm fit and ensure you’re placed in a non-competing group. Qualified candidates are then invited to attend an Experience Session before making a membership decision.
Who will be in my group?
Each Circle is carefully curated to include experienced CFOs and finance executives from diverse industries. Groups are intentionally built without direct competitors to encourage trust, transparency, and relevant discussion.
is the time commitment substantial?
No. In fact, members often say the time they spend each month in a CFO Circle save them far more time elsewhere. By focusing on the right strategic issues, learning from proven practices, and cutting through noise quickly, the return on time is both immediate and lasting.
how often will my group meet?
Most groups meet once a month for a three-hour session. This cadence provides enough time to dig into meaningful issues while allowing you to apply insights between meetings. Additional learning opportunities and events may also be available.
how do i get a return on my investment?
The ROI comes from applying real-world insight from seasoned peers. Members report avoiding costly missteps, accelerating strategic initiatives, and building lasting professional relationships that continue to deliver value long after each meeting.
what do participants actually talk about?
Discussions focus on the challenges that matter most to CFOs: strategic growth, capital structure, succession planning, leadership development, risk management, navigating board expectations, and even personal balance in high-pressure roles.
Is sponsorship required?
Participation in a CFO Circle may require sponsorship. If you haven’t been referred by one, we may be able to secure a seat through an existing sponsor—or help you explore whether a company or organization you work with would be interested in launching a group for their key clients, members, or partners.
What type of organizations sponsor groups?
Sponsors include B2B companies, professional, industry, and trade associations, and non-profits — organizations seeking to add value, deepen relationships, and stand out with innovative offerings
What is my investment in a CFO leadership circle?
Membership in the CFO Circle is more accessible than most traditional peer forums, with a current monthly fee of $500, offering exceptional value—delivering strategic insight, peer accountability, and leadership growth at a fraction of the cost of traditional forums.
